I’m traveling north this weekend to visit my family that lives in PA. I know that some states have stricter laws against firework sales than others. I believe that in PA only little firecrackers and sparklers can be sold legally. However, there are giant fireworks stores that sell everything from Roman candles to mortars. I’m driving from Florida to PA this weekend. What state should I stop in to buy my fireworks? I want a good selection of things to buy – aka – more than sparklers and snakes. I’ll be driving through: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and PA. Thanks for the assistance!

If you have an out of state license, you are able to buy the bigger fireworks in PA. This was as of last year, I don’t know if that has changed. My sister and neighbor got quite a variety of small mortars and displays last year and they were beautiful.
In Florida you can go to Phantom Fireworks (they have several locations, check out there website.) they have a lot of fireworks and good ones too! We go there every 4th of July and New Years.
