Best Fireworks Rockets 2010..part 1 of 2

This is video from Kellner Fireworks demo nights 2010. Every year we enjoy seeing these hand made rockets made by a master fireworks rocket maker. These rockets are not for sale and are a labor of love for the gentleman that makes these. I posted the video for all to enjoy. Please see parts 1 and 2

  3. the cameraman or woman is not so good

  4. this rocket at 7:31 that was just awesome

  5. This is probably a dumb question, but does he use a commercially-available engine to propel his display into the air or are these hand-made from top to bottom? Why not use a nosecone? I notice that these rockets do not fly straight or well. A nose cone to reduce drag and make the airflow over the top “behave” would cause a much “straighter” flight. Or am I wrong? I feel foolish offering advice in the face of a master rocket maker! Awesome, awesome rockets!

  6. “Aawwww…I missed the report.” Indeed you miss a lot of things in your videos. I absolutely love your videos and sit for too many hours & watch you & your cohorts deal with mid-life crisis in much more enjoyable ways than blowing money on expensive cars. : )
Just a tiny bit of advice…a suggestion. Slow down, back up a little, relax, be patient. Your audience is missing a lot becuase you “leave” your incredible, beautiful subjecs too quickly. Keep up the incredible work!

  7. nice fireworks

  8. @DavidMavid94 That is created by a perfectly regular composition such as black powder – or barium nitrate and PVC flares or other compositions pressed firmly into a tube plugged at both ends with bentonite clay. The high-powered spinning comes from the fusehole, which is near the bottom end of the tube and is made at an angle.

More conventional whistles can make similar amusing effects without special casing, such as potassium sorbate or terephthalate.
